Well I have been away and went on a trip to Fiji as well, what a lovely time .

I was lucky enough to go on a tour called the "Sigatoka River Safari" where you got into a jet boat and travel down a river (at the time was no more than 3ft deep) we then arrived a bank about 15Km from where you started.
This is where we met a village of Fijians that live in an area where they have no Electricity, no sewage, cook in conditions that we wouldn't dare, the live in little huts, for the children to get to school the children have to cross the river by walking or if the river is high float across hoping they will get there safely, then get dressed on the other side and then walk to the primary school which is up the road. For Secondary School (College) they do the same but at 6.30 in the morning catch the bus that takes them to school even though they are late by the time they get there. Then on the way back they have to do the same things.

They are very religious but and believe that God will help them and God has made them better.
Upon leaving we were told we could leave gifts/donations to help them (20% of our ticket price went to them) this would help with the village paying their 1/3 of money to get electricity to their village so that their children could use a real light to study not candles this payment is $11,000 FJD. I felt compelled to make a difference so here I am telling the community of the experience and going to be putting up a Donation for donating to those who need the support.
